Current Vacancy (Bristol)

Position title: Solar Farm Electrician (O&M)
Department: O&M department

PS-Renewables, provider of Operations and Maintenance on solar PV farms is looking to expand their team across the nation, in light of their growing business.

The company is currently managing over 300 MWs of solar plants, and we are looking for experienced technicians to assist with our continuous growth.

Description/Tasks:

  • Qualified technician, ideally with experience in Operations and Maintenance on MW-scale installations.
  • Experience with monitoring system (Webdom, Inaccess, Meteocontrol, Skytron,…).
  • Experience internal communications (Ethernet, RS485,..)
  • Experience managing problems with solar inverters (Power Electronics, Schneider, SMA,…)
  • Development of new tools in a growing environment.
  • Dedicated contact for customers and funds.

Responsibilities:

  • Make sure any problem on site is quickly identified and communicate with the other members of the team and the office.
  • Make sure the performance of the fields are good in any moment, and find out the reason of any possible problem.
  • Make sure we manage and excellent response to our customers.

Qualifications and experience

  • Solar experience at least 2 years.
  • Previous experience in monitoring.
  • High level of English.
  • HV trained is ideal.

  • BRISTOL area or any place turning to east
  • Van, laptop and phone
  • Pension scheme after probation period (3 months)
