Planning permission granted for new solar farm in Lincolnshire
PS Renewables is delighted to announce that the Sand Lane Solar Farm near Manton, Lincolnshire has received planning permission.
Planning permission for this project has been granted by both North Lincolnshire Council and West Lindsey District Council as the solar farm site includes land in both Council areas.
This is an important milestone for this project, which will generate renewable energy of equivalent electricity required to power 7,500 homes.
Senior Planning Manager, James Walker, said:
“It is fantastic to achieve planning permission for another project to add to PS Renewables’ portfolio. This site is a very good location for a solar farm, evidenced by limited public objection and support from local and Statutory consultees, which has resulted in both Councils approving their respective applications under delegated powers. We are now looking forward to progressing the development and delivering the significant public benefits Sand Lane Solar Farm will bring.”
The Sand Lane Solar Farm will be located on 77 acres of land to the west of Manton, north-east of Scotter and south-east of Messingham.
