The PS Renewables onsite team was pleased to welcome Dunmow Parish Council to visit our latest project in March.

As long-term operators of projects that we develop, we understand the importance of bringing local communities along with us on our journey towards clean energy and pure, breathable clean air. Our team always welcomes the opportunity to provide reassurance to local stakeholders by sharing our experiences and, where possible, providing tours of our operational fleet.

This project is due to become operational in May and is therefore another one of our successfully constructed and connected projects to begin supplying clean energy to homes and businesses across the UK.

The parish councillors were very impressed and left the site feeling positive following a Q&A session where we answered their questions and provided reassurance on common misconceptions around solar energy.

As a result, the parish council has offered to support PS Renewables on future projects to support and explain the process to other local communities that have similar concerns with renewable energy projects coming forward in their parish.

We would like to thank the parish council and local residents for all their support throughout the construction period.

As we continue the journey to reach Net Zero, our industry must continue to engage with communities if we are to maintain public support. At PS Renewables we are proud to be at the forefront of this mission and are passionate about achieving our net-zero targets with the support of our communities.
