PS Renewables receives planning permission for new solar farm in Gloucestershire
We are delighted to announce that Cox’s Brook Solar Farm has received full planning permission from Tewkesbury Borough Council.
This is an important milestone on this project which, once built, will generate clean, renewable energy which could power almost 5,000 homes each year.
Project manager, Greg Felix said: “We are very pleased to have received planning permission for Cox’s Brook Solar Farm, which will help to make a significant contribution to the UK’s need for clean, secure energy. We would like to thank the local community and Tewkesbury Borough Council for engaging with us throughout this process and look forward to working with them throughout the lifetime of this project.”
Cox’s Brook Solar Farm will be located on approximately 66 acres of land near to Twigworth. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of next year.
