PS Renewables receives planning permission for new solar farm near Gloucester

We are delighted to announce that Pure Life Energy Solar Farm has received full planning permission from Stroud District Council.

This is an important milestone for this project which, once built could generate the equivalent electricity required to power 2,750 homes each year, reducing the need for harmful emissions from fossil-fuelled power stations.

Development Manager, Greg Felix said: “We are very pleased that Pure Life Energy Solar Farm has been granted planning permission. We’d like to thank the local community and Stroud District Council for sharing their feedback and engaging with us throughout this process. The project received full support from the Council’s consultees which enabled the Planning Officer to use delegated powers to determine approval.

Pure Life Energy will be located on 30 acres of land near Gloucester. Construction is expected to begin in early 2026.
