Two projects connected to the grid in two days supplying vital clean energy to homes and businesses across the UK

We are proud to announce that another two projects have been successfully connected to the electricity network, making an important contribution to tackling climate change and towards our mission of Pure, Breathable Clean Air.

Connected within hours of each other, the two projects are a testament to the determination, talent and increasing capability within the ever-growing PS Renewables team.

Taken together, the projects are now generating enough green, renewable energy to power over 3,500 homes each year, helping to meet the increasing demand for clean energy in the UK.

Gander Down Solar Farm (7MWp) is located near Stockbridge, Hampshire and has been developed alongside one of our existing landowners, having successfully brought forward a 50MWp connection within their land in 2016. Gander Down has been designed to sensitively integrate into the surrounding environment, respecting the ecology and character of the area.

Markham Brook (Simple Energy) Solar Farm (7MWp) is located near Abbots Leigh, Bristol and shares the same empathetic approach to its design. In particular, we have worked with the local community to provide benefit through the construction phase.

Operation Director, Aaron Tucker said: To be a part of this young, fresh and talented team that continues to grow from strength to strength is just an absolute pleasure. Connecting both projects at the end of last year was an important milestone for us as well as a testament to the hard work of our team. The future is certainly exciting with our pipeline of significant projects and we look forward to continuing to deliver more renewable energy to the UK.
