Burgate Solar Farm successfully connected to the electricity network
The PS Renewables team is proud to announce another project has been successfully synchronised to the electricity network. The PS Renewables team has been working closely with UKPN on this project to connect to the network successfully.
Burgate Solar Farm has an installed capacity of 21MWp (DC), with the potential to power 5250 homes every year, making an important contribution to tackling climate change and towards our mission of Pure, Breathable Clean Air.
Working with our trusted and skilled installation partners, we’re pleased that this project was delivered in a smooth and timely manner, to our usual very high standards.
This is one of the three projects that have been built out and handed to the Operations and Maintenance Team this year.
Grid Manager, John Towie said: We are immensely proud that Burgate is now fully operational, continuing our proven track record of safely and reliably delivering projects that provide clean energy to our homes and businesses.
We’d like to thank the fantastic support, hard work and dedication of our development and construction teams in achieving such a significant milestone and we look forward to continuing this into future projects.
