PS Renewables receives planning consent for new solar farm in North Somerset
We are delighted to announce that Markham Brook Solar Farm has received planning permission from North Somerset Council.
This is an important milestone for this project which, once built, could power 1,750 homes each year, preventing harmful emissions from fossil fuelled power stations.
Development Manager, Greg Felix said: “We are very pleased that Markham Brook has been granted planning permission. We’d like to thank the local community, and North Somerset Council for sharing their feedback and engaging with us throughout this process. We look forward to continuing to work with them throughout Markham Brook’s lifetime.”
Markham Brook will be located on 18 acres of land near to Abbots Leigh, Bristol. Construction is expected to begin shortly in 2024.
